MUSE’s 1st Christmas….
Our 1st Christmas in December 2009 was absolutely the best! By sheer coincidence, and continued good MUSE vibes, our team colors happened to become trendy that very Christmas!! Dragging in hand-me-downs and a 10′ tree, we worked like little elves to decorate the whole spa with MUSEy Xmas cheer!

Well, let’s just say that we hadn’t put up such a massive tree before, and being mighty, yet small, it was an entire ordeal! A few near falls, a whole bunch of laughter, and we finally got it up and ready for decorations!!!

It took all day! Exhausted, and finally finished, we stood back to look at our red and black beauty of a tree!! We headed to the back half of the spa (for those that remember, the back half wasn’t built yet, it was rather car-shop-garage-ish back there). We plop into some chairs and exhale…..

AND HEAR A HUGE CRASH!

….. we open the door in a hurry to the main hallway only to see 3 red and black Christmas balls bouncing out of the lobby entrance……. like shrapnel, there were ornaments everywhere!! The whole tree had fallen over! And we couldn’t stop laughing!!

One of our favorite MUSE friends happened to be there and was able to help us get it back up….but we should mention that our favorite MUSE friend was a dear man in a wheelchair. He some how managed to get on the floor and under that tree, and with sheer upper body heman strength, he lifted the whole tree upright! Jaw-dropped he exclaimed “Ladies! A little help here!” OOPS! We quickly scrambled in to get the tree back in the stand and stabilized.

Whew! And MUSEs 1st Christmas was saved!!! And he is still a hero to us ❤🖤Ⓜ️
